SPECIAL OFFER If you ask to book a tour close to its departure date we very often find that one or more of the hotels are fully booked. To reduce the chances of this happening we are offering a discount of £50 off all prices in the above table to anyone booking any tour BEFORE THE END OF MARCH. |
You should note that there are no add-ons. What
you see is what you pay. The only possible extras
are the night in Calais on the return if you want it,
and maybe the fuel surcharge.
The prices are based on twin occupancy of rooms
and cabins. For sole occupancy a 25% supplement
will be charged. NB. The price for the Greece tour
is based on a minimum of 16 people. If this figure is
not reached there will have to be a surcharge of £60
for one person and £100 for two on a solo because
we will not then receive our very significant
discount on the Venice ferry.
Insurance
Green card extension of your normal insurance policy has now been scrapped. However a small number of insurers still require you to tell them that you are going abroad. Tour members should contact their company get get their views.
Fuel
To give you a rough idea of fuel costs in Europe you
could work on:
60p/L in Greece, 65p in Spain, 70p in Austria, 86p in
France & Italy & 90p in Germany, These are all leadfree
prices as at October 2008. Oil is VERY VERY
expensive everywhere.
Eating Out
To obtain a rough idea of
the cost of eating out you should be ready for
between £14 & £20 for a three course meal with
wine, though clearly two courses with beer would
cut this down. Again prices are based on 2008
experience.
Logistics
For clients from Ireland & loM, sidecar
outfits & cars, prices can be given on request.
Alternative ferry crossings CAN be arranged, if
available, though in the case of North Sea Ferries at
considerable extra cost. And also any changes to
our scheduled days and times for ferries can be
made, but may result in a small increase.
