Know what a Desfilladero is? Missing out the 's' might give you a clue. Look on a large scale map of the Pyrénées, they're all over the place. Look for the very wiggly green and yellow roads! But never mind, your tour leader will point you at several to savour and our brochure will show you a little bit of one of them.

Then, can you remember the Cowboys and Injuns films? Showers of arrows raining down on thundering hooves? Injuns popping up from behind rocks, J.Wayne galloping to the rescue? A lot of the filming for epics like these was in fact done in the Pyrénées.

But you won't have to worry about that sort of excitement on this trip. You can enjoy the scenery without fear of ambushes. It's not the Wild West, it's the Wild Pyrénées.

And when you've had enough of that each day then you'll be able to relax in the fabulous restaurants at all our hotel stops, and get yourselves outside a bottle of Rioha, before falling upstairs to bed.
